it's time to SPARKLE!

 honestly,
New Year's eve is da bomb diggity.

is there any other time it's socially acceptable to deck out in glitter?!
the answer [should be] no!

but this year,
don't just let your sparkly dress steal the show....

let your eyes be the hit of the party by using GLITTER as eyeshadow.
here's how to do it.

1. start by applying an eyeshadow primer to your eyelids.
2. dip your eyeshadow brush into a small amount of water and then into your glitter.
3. tap your brush unto your eyelid.
[the glitter will stick directly onto your skin.]
4. continue doing this until your entire lid is completely covered in glitter.
pro tip

a lot of glitter will fall onto your cheeks,
so before you apply your foundation,
remove the fallen sparkles.

i finished this look by rimming my eyes in NYX slim eye pencil in Black for a dramatic look,
making my skin matte with NARS sheer matte foundation,
making my cheeks shean with Bobbi Brown shimmer brick in Rose,
keeping my lips neutral but full with Becca Cosmetics ultimate colour gloss in Mocha Berry,
and really making my eyes pop by using my go to highlighter MAC eyeshadow in Nylon
to make sure you don't overdo this look |
avoid false lashes
or a bold lip.

let the glitter be the center of attention!

this look is so fun,
so give it a go!

but im warming you...
you might wake up for the next few days with a little flecks of glitter on your face :)

 happy New Year's!

be a holiday hottie

be red HOT this holiday with this bold look!

pair shimmering skin with a red lip and a gold cat eye.
 this look is classic,
with an unexpected edge.
[gold cat eye anyone?]

here's what i used //
keep this look effortless by sporting you're real lashes,
not overdoing the blush,
[use a small amount of bronzer instead]
and showing off your natural brow shape.

pro tip
remember to use a lip liner to get your lipstick exact and precise!
and there you go!

i hope you look smokin' this Christmas Eve!

thanks for reading!

au naturel

opt for a natural look this holiday session.

rock matte skin,
matte mauve lips,
matte cheeks,
and a nude eye.
[just mascara]
add a little oomph to your skin with a small amount of highlighter
under your brows,
in the corner of your eyes,
and on the tip of your nose.
 pro tip
to make your eyes look a little more alive,
on your eyelids,
add a tiny amount of concealer in a few shades darker than your skin tone.
and blend.

this will add dimension and definition while still looking incredibly natural.

do you like the headband i'm wearing?!
head over to www.eandelle.blogspot.com and find out how to make it yourself!

enjoy!

create a lipstain!

wearing lipstick is a commitment.
not that there's anything wrong with that...
but sometimes a girl just isn't ready to devote her whole day to making sure her lipstick is flawless.
so,
try this instead.
a lip stain.
now it's not EXACTLY what you think.
i'm not requiring you to break the bank and go buy a new YSL lip stain.
[relieved sigh.]

all you'll need is your lipstick of choice,
and a little Vaseline.
i LOVE the look of stained lips.
it's way more natural than lipstick,
but makes your pout look like "you woke up like dis".
here's how to get the look.
1. apply Vaseline to your lips
[the more Vaseline you add, the more opaque your stain will become]
2. dot a small amount of lipstick to the center of your lips.
3. with your finger, TAP your lipstick evenly around your lips.
*if you want your stain to be darker, dot another layer of lipstick onto lips*
yeah,
it's easy,
huh.
here are some of my fav lipsticks turned lip stain//
i love a brave bold lip,

but sometimes i just want to go a little more subtle-
for more of an everyday type look.
and this is my go to!

i hope you enjoy :)
