luck of the "eye-rish"

everyone knows that wearing green on St. Patty's day is a must.

but if you're anything like me,
green isn't exactly a staple color in your wardrobe.

so what's a girl to do?

well...
this St. Patrick's day,
think luck of the "eye-rish".

i know, i know.
wearing green eyeshadow seems a little awful.

but i promise-
it's actually kinda fab!

the key to nailing this look...

use a semi shimmery,
not too light,
not too dark,
green shadow,
lightly applied to your eyelid ONLY.
{i used lucky green by MAC}

▴ pro tip ▴
remember to use an eyeshadow primer!
this will ensure your eyeshadow's true green pigment will come through.
as well as keeping your shadow in place all day-
and all night!
to top off this look -

in your crease |  MAC eyeshadow in soft brown
under your lower lash line | MAC eyeshadow in woodwinked
on your cheeks | NARS blush in orgasm
to fill in your brows | Anastasia dipbrow pomade
and of course,
lots and lots of black mascara.

wearing green eyeshadow probably isn't any everyday sort of thing,
but hey,
why not use St. Patrick's day as an excuse to try something new?!

after all,
it's better than being pinched!

 xoxo
